What is Pure Dough made from?

Our handmade Pure Dough is crafted in small batches using simple, natural, non-toxic ingredients straight from the kitchen. We do not use artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances - only thoughtfully selected, high-quality ingredients to create a sensory play experience parents can feel confident about.

Ingredients: Flour, Salt, Water, Cream of Tartar, Oil, Vinegar, Corn Starch, Essential Oil (Kid-Safe), Natural Food Coloring

Is your dough non-toxic?

Yes! Creating a non-toxic dough was incredibly important to us as parents. When we couldn’t find a sensory dough we truly felt comfortable with, we decided to make our own using safe, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. Our Pure Dough is made with non-toxic ingredients designed for sensory play, so you can feel confident about what your child is playing with.

Is the dough edible?

No. Although our dough is made with simple, natural ingredients, it is designed for play, not for consumption. Adult supervision is recommended, especially with younger children who may still explore by putting objects in their mouths.

Does your dough contain allergens?

Our dough is made with wheat-based ingredients and is produced in a facility that is not free from common allergens. If your child has allergies or sensitivities, please review the ingredient information carefully before use.

Why don't you use artificial colors?

We intentionally avoid harmful artificial dyes and instead use natural coloring methods. While artificial dyes can create bold colors, we believe beautiful sensory play can be achieved without unnecessary additives.

How is your dough scented?

We scent our dough using only high-quality, kid-safe essential oils. We never use synthetic fragrances, ensuring a gentle and natural sensory experience.

How should I store my dough?

After each play session, simply place the dough back into its container with the lid securely closed. Properly stored dough can provide months of imaginative play.

What if my dough starts to dry out?

If your dough becomes slightly dry, knead it with clean hands for a minute and/or add a few drops of water and continue kneading until it softens.

I noticed small salt crystals in my dough - is that normal?

Yes, this can occasionally happen and is completely normal. Because our dough is made with natural ingredients, you may sometimes notice tiny salt crystals forming over time. They are not harmful and can simply be kneaded back into the dough until smooth again.

How long will the dough last?

With proper storage, your dough should stay soft and enjoyable for several months. Because it's handmade, slight variations in texture over time are normal.

What ages are your kits designed for?

Our sensory kits are recommended for children ages 3 and up due to the inclusion of small parts. Adult supervision is always encouraged.

Can I purchase replacement dough?

Absolutely! We offer replacement Pure Dough so your child can continue enjoying their favorite sensory kits long after the original dough has been well loved.

Are all of your kits handmade?

Each kit is thoughtfully assembled by hand, and every batch of Pure Dough is handmade in small batches with care and attention to quality.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We'll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
